Rocca di Frassinello Ornello 2023

Still red wine from Maremma Toscana DOC, 14% ABV, produced by Rocca di Frassinello. Blend: 40% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 20% Syrah, 2022 vintage. A wine born from the collaboration between a French and Italian winery, namely the meeting between Domanin Barone di Rothschild-Lafite and Paolo Panerai’s Cantina Castellare. Aged for 10 months in barriques and 6 months in bottle. On the nose, it presents balsamic and roasted coffee notes. Intense ruby red color. On the palate, notes of undergrowth and very soft, velvety tannins.
