WOW! What an experience this wine is… and certainly not your usual Grüner Veltliner. Expect a somewhat wild Petroleum fuelled finish, honey, yuzu. Expect bright acidity, a refreshing yet complex mouthfeel and a LOT of energy going on. We really were blown away by this and feel it tastes more like a wine 10 euros more!

Vinification of Veltinske Zelene Concrete Pyramid 2018/19

The grapes are grown on 40 year old vines planted on a sandy soil, based on top of rough gravel making the vines dig deep for nutrients. Vintage 2018 sees minor skin contact for eight days, fermentation in a stainless steel tank, ageing in concrete pyramid ( 600l ) and wooden barrel ( 500l ).
Vintage 2019 sees skin contact for 5 days, fermentation in concrete pyramid ( 600l ), No added sulphur in 2019. The two were blended in September 2021.
