Hubinsky – Rizling Rynsky Hauspereg 2018

Rizling Rynsky Hauspereg 2018 is a natural wine crafted by , in the Bratislava region in Slovakia, more specifically the Little Carpathian micro-region. This white wine is made with 100% grapes, which are known in the region as Rizling Rynsky. This is not to be confused with Rizling Vlassky, which is Welschriesling.

This is a beautiful Riesling, already with some slight, aged-Riesling notes fans of the grape look for. Expect bruised yellow apples, petrol, citrus and a slightly flinty aspect in this wonderful wine – exceptional value for the fantastic pricepoint

Vinification of Rizling Rynsky Hauspereg 2018

The vineyard is 38 years old and is grown on sand from weathered slate. This Riesling sees skin-contact for four days, and finishes fermentation in a stainless steel tank.
It is then aged in a 1000l barrel from Stockinger (used 5-7 years as old wood).
