The Chardonnay grapes in Charmille are grown on limestone soils (trias).

The other Chardonnays of theirs like Clos de Jerminy are grown on Marl.

The previous vintage was buttery. Floral. Fresh. Rounded. Perfect.

A nephew to Pierre Overnoy, Guillaume Overnoy currently runs this 5.5-acre domain in the Jura which has been handed to him by his father, Jean-Louis Overnoy. The region this domain farms in is called Beaufort-Orbagna.
