Bobinet – Piak Blanc MAGNUM

Piak Blanc MAGNUM is a large format, super fun and interesting natural wine crafted by Domaine Calvez , made in Saumur – right in the heart of the Loire region of . Despite the colour, this white wine is made with grapes, a red grape – thus making it a Blanc de Noir.

How does the Piak! wine by Calvez-Bobinet taste?

Piak white (or Piak Blanc) is a blanc de noir, and the Cabernet Franc grapes are grown on 35 year old vines. The grapes are pressed directly, which is why the colour is white (red grapes also produce white juice, its the skins that give the colour).

This unusual white wine is incredibly great value with notes of green apple, melon, banana and lime alongside a slight mineralic touch.

Bobinet Piak! is delightfully enjoyable served cold as an aperitif or with light seafood.
