90% Sangiovese and 10% Black Malvasia grown on hills in the Province of Florence. This organic wine is classic Chianti. It’s fermented with indigenous yeast which gives the wine local flavor (and a little something extra). Ripe cherries and violets on the nose introduce red fruit, oregano and a hint of clove on the palate. The tannins are soft but present, balanced by a gentle, persistent acidity. Try this with tomato-based pastas, aged steak, or your favorite pizza.
