Pheasant’s Tears – Rkatsiteli 2012

Rkatsiteli 2012 by is a natural wine made in Kakheti, Georgia. This aged wine was an incredible experience! 2012 is a dream. Smells pretty orange on the nose but actually pretty mild on the skin contact ‘twang’ as the aging has mellowed the tannic structure. Features some volatile acidity, which lifts it rather than dominates. Brusied apricot, jasmine, tea and preserved lemon.
