Why is this Partida Creus wine called VN?

These entry level Partida Creus wines from Penedes are named after a style of wine called Vinel-Lo, which is essentially a low alcohol table wine made with grape pomace, which is the style of lightness owners Massimo and Antonella aim for with both the VN red and the VN White.

Whilst the other wines of Partida Creus reflect the grapes used, like SM for Sumoll, here with the big blend it is easiest to just refer to the style of wine in the initials.
