After a carafe to allow the pickled and Volatile Acidic elements to blow off, it has petroleum notes like an aged Riesling. Rounded, yet energetic and vibrant mouthfeel. Limes, meadow flowers, wet rocks, pickle juice, dried grass. Certainly with an volatile acidic kick and if you like acid then this is great value for money.

Vinification of Rizling Vlassky 2018/2019

Grown on brown clay soils of vineyards aged 40-50 years old. Vinification of Welschriesling vintage 2018 saw skin-contact for four days. Semi-carbonic maceration, with 30% of whole clusters poured over by fermenting must.
Fermentation in a stainless steel tank. Vintage 2019 saw skin-contact for three days and no added sulphur. Blended in September 2021.
