Still white wine from Burgundy, France, 12% ABV, produced by Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. 100% Chardonnay. 2010 vintage. A wine that embodies the excellence of Burgundy, produced by one of the world’s leading producers. The vineyards are clustered around the village of Vosne-Romanée, on well-drained slopes facing east and southeast. The average age of the vines is very old—about 44 years—and the vineyards are farmed organically. To avoid soil compaction caused by tractors, horses were reintroduced to cultivate the Romanée-Conti and Le Montrachet vineyards. Floral and fruity aromas on the nose. Golden straw yellow. On the palate, the wine is soft and savory.
