Clos Lentiscus – Perill Noir Carignan 2017

Perill Noir Carignan 2017 by is made in Catalonia with grapes. Clos Lentiscus is run by Manuel Aviñó and his daughter Nuria Aviñó and the vines for this Peril Noir Carignan were planted in 1930. Grapes are destemmed and macerated for fifteen days in both foudres and amphorae, fermenting in these vessels with native yeasts and aged for twenty-four months. Fresh red fruit aromas with light spicy notes on the nose, an intense and deep wine with a nice structure and chewy tannins.
