Castello di Ama Chianti Classico Ama 2022

Still red Chianti Classico DOCG, 13.5% ABV, produced by Castello di Ama, founded in 1976. Blend: 96% Sangiovese and 4% Merlot. 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Chianti Classico that embodies the passion and dedication of one of Tuscany’s most prestigious wineries. Vinification was induced by indigenous yeasts and separated by variety in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30-32°C, with manual pumping over and a total maturation (cuvaison) of 25 days for the Sangiovese and 25 days for the Merlot. After racking, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. Aged in fine-grained oak barriques, without the use of new oak. Ruby red in color with vermilion highlights. On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious with spicy and well-balanced notes from the first impact.
