Burning Barn Spiced Rum
Burning Barn rum is, endearingly, named after the family’s barn, which burned down in September 2015. Making it possibly the finest tribute to a barn or shed ever created by man. This catastrophe inspired the Warwickshire-based family, which had long been producing fruit, to turn their talents to spirits. Creating three rums which reflect the heat and smoke of the barn fire (which was, prophetically, fuelled by sugar).
- A massive hit of toasted coconut, vanilla and molasses. Smooth and rounded, full of aromatic allspice and a spike of chilli on the tongue, followed by a long, warming ginger finish.
- Burning Barn Spiced Rum is made by roasting a unique mix of whole spices – vanilla, coconut, chilli, ginger and allspice. In three metre wide, heavy copper pans that are traditionally used for toffee making.
- They infuse the aromatic mix directly into their special , before diluting to bottling strength.
