CHATEAU DU CARTILLON HAUT MEDOC FRANCE 2016

Ch du Cartillon is a Cru Bourgeois that comes from Lamarque, a village in the gap between Margaux and St-Julien and close to Moulis, so in decent Haut-Medoc territory. The vines are planted in quite deep gravel and sand and they comprise mostly Merlot, a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon, but unusually even now in Bordeaux, 25% Petit Verdot.
