The Supplier states that this blend of Ribolla, Welschriesling and Istrian Malvasia is an homage to both Vipava Valley and Karst. Welschriesling and Istrian Malvasia went through a 7-day skin contact while Ribolla was added towards the end. Matured for 36 months in oak barrels. Aromas of ripe apples, ripe peaches, honey pears, black tea, vanilla and roasted almonds. Surprisingly fresh for it’s age. Great with seafood and soft cheese.
